Aside from the fact that I was with my two friends Don and Marie from Washington, D.C. – who always bring a smile to my face, I was graced by the presence of 300 other Obama supporters at El Sarmiento Bar in Palermo Hollywood last night.

We sat at a table with Tom and Maya from Oregon and talked about everything from Maya’s upcoming book to where to find the best Japanese food in BA.  I saw Frank Almeida – one of the coolest people I know in this city.  Check out his blog for some great political links and of course, his store for some great cookies and brownies, biscotti… (oh the list goes on..).

The whole Dem’s abroad team were organizing away and talking to everyone!  They did a great job last night!
